Surah An-Naml (النمل) • The Ant

Quran 27:57

27:57

فَأَنجَيْنَـٰهُ وَأَهْلَهُۥٓ إِلَّا ٱمْرَأَتَهُۥ قَدَّرْنَـٰهَا مِنَ ٱلْغَـٰبِرِينَ

fa-anjaynāhu wa-ahlahu illā im'ra-atahu qaddarnāhā mina l-ghābirīna

We saved him and his family- except for his wife: We made her stay behind-

So We saved him and his family, except his wife. We destined her to be of those who remained behind.

مِنَmina(to be) of

ٱلْغَـٰبِرِينَl-ghābirīnathose who remained behind
