65:9
فَذَاقَتْ وَبَالَ أَمْرِهَا وَكَانَ عَـٰقِبَةُ أَمْرِهَا خُسْرًا
fadhāqat wabāla amrihā wakāna ʿāqibatu amrihā khus'ran
to make them taste the ill effect of their conduct- the result of their conduct was ruin.
So it tasted the evil result of its affair (disbelief), and the consequence of its affair (disbelief) was loss (destruction in this life and an eternal punishment in the Hereafter).
