أَلْهَىٰكُمُ ٱلتَّكَاثُرُ

التكاثر
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
أَلْهَىٰكُمُ ٱلتَّكَاثُرُ
حَتَّىٰ زُرْتُمُ ٱلْمَقَابِرَ
كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ
ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ
كَلَّا لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ عِلْمَ ٱلْيَقِينِ
لَتَرَوُنَّ ٱلْجَحِيمَ
ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيْنَ ٱلْيَقِينِ
ثُمَّ لَتُسْـَٔلُنَّ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَنِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ
At-Takathur diagnoses the disease of every age: competition in accumulation diverts you until you visit the graves. It warns — with escalating certainty — that you will surely see the Hellfire with the eye of certainty, and that on that Day you will be asked about the pleasures you enjoyed.
At-Takathur (التكاثر) means "The Rivalry in Increase" in English. It is chapter 102 of the Holy Quran.
