وَٱلْعَصْرِ
By time,Saheeh International
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ لَفِى خُسْرٍ
Indeed, mankind is in loss,Saheeh International
إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ وَتَوَاصَوْا۟ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا۟ بِٱلصَّبْرِ
Except for those who have believed and done righteous deeds and advised each other to truth and advised each other to patience.Saheeh International

Al-'Asr compresses the formula of salvation into three verses: by time, mankind is in loss — except those who believe, do righteous deeds, and counsel one another to truth and to patience. Imam ash-Shafi'i remarked that if people reflected on this surah alone, it would suffice them.
