قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلْفَلَقِ

الفلق
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلْفَلَقِ
مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ
وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ
وَمِن شَرِّ ٱلنَّفَّـٰثَـٰتِ فِى ٱلْعُقَدِ
وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ
Al-Falaq is the first of the two surahs of refuge (al-Mu'awwidhatayn). It teaches the believer to seek protection with the Lord of the daybreak from the evil of what He created: the darkness when it settles, those who practice sorcery, and the envier when he envies.
Al-Falaq (الفلق) means "The Daybreak" in English. It is chapter 113 of the Holy Quran.
Surah Al-Falaq has 5 verses (ayat). It appears on pages 604 to 604 of the mushaf.
Surah Al-Falaq is a Madani surah, revealed in Madinah after the Prophet's ﷺ migration.

The Prophet ﷺ would recite Al-Falaq and An-Nas with Al-Ikhlas into his palms and wipe over his body before sleeping each night (Sahih al-Bukhari), and said no seeker of refuge has ever sought protection with anything like these two surahs (Abu Dawud).
