2:206
wa-idhā qīla lahu ittaqi l-laha akhadhathu l-ʿizatu bil-ith'mi faḥasbuhu jahannamu walabi'sa l-mihādu
When he is told, ‘Beware of God,’ his arrogance leads him to sin. Hell is enough for him: a dreadful resting place.
And when it is said to him, "Fear Allâh", he is led by arrogance to (more) crime. So enough for him is Hell, and worst indeed is that place to rest!
