أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصْحَـٰبِ ٱلْفِيلِ

الفيل
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصْحَـٰبِ ٱلْفِيلِ
أَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ كَيْدَهُمْ فِى تَضْلِيلٍ
وَأَرْسَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ طَيْرًا أَبَابِيلَ
تَرْمِيهِم بِحِجَارَةٍ مِّن سِجِّيلٍ
فَجَعَلَهُمْ كَعَصْفٍ مَّأْكُولٍۭ
Al-Fil recalls how Allah dealt with the companions of the elephant — Abraha's army that marched to demolish the Ka'bah in the very year the Prophet ﷺ was born. Allah sent against them birds in flocks, striking them with stones of hard clay, and made them like eaten straw.
Al-Fil (الفيل) means "The Elephant" in English. It is chapter 105 of the Holy Quran.
Surah Al-Fil has 5 verses (ayat). It appears on pages 601 to 601 of the mushaf.
