Arabic has two main sentence types:

1. **Nominal Sentence (جملة اسمية)**

Starts with a noun: "اللهُ نورُ السماوات"

(Allah is the Light of the heavens)

2. **Verbal Sentence (جملة فعلية)**

Starts with a verb: "خَلَقَ اللهُ السماوات"

(Allah created the heavens)
