وَٱلْعَـٰدِيَـٰتِ ضَبْحًا

العاديات
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
وَٱلْعَـٰدِيَـٰتِ ضَبْحًا
فَٱلْمُورِيَـٰتِ قَدْحًا
فَٱلْمُغِيرَٰتِ صُبْحًا
فَأَثَرْنَ بِهِۦ نَقْعًا
فَوَسَطْنَ بِهِۦ جَمْعًا
إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ لِرَبِّهِۦ لَكَنُودٌ
وَإِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدٌ
وَإِنَّهُۥ لِحُبِّ ٱلْخَيْرِ لَشَدِيدٌ
۞ أَفَلَا يَعْلَمُ إِذَا بُعْثِرَ مَا فِى ٱلْقُبُورِ
وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِى ٱلصُّدُورِ
إِنَّ رَبَّهُم بِهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَّخَبِيرٌۢ
Al-'Adiyat swears by the war horses charging at dawn, striking sparks and raising dust, to expose a hidden truth: man is ungrateful to his Lord — and he himself is a witness to it — and intense in his love of wealth. Does he not know that when graves are overturned, what is within breasts is made apparent?
Al-'Adiyat (العاديات) means "The Courser" in English. It is chapter 100 of the Holy Quran.
Surah Al-'Adiyat has 11 verses (ayat). It appears on pages 599 to 600 of the mushaf.
Surah Al-'Adiyat is a Madani surah, revealed in Madinah after the Prophet's ﷺ migration.
