قُلْ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَ

الكافرون
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
قُلْ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَ
لَآ أَعْبُدُ مَا تَعْبُدُونَ
وَلَآ أَنتُمْ عَـٰبِدُونَ مَآ أَعْبُدُ
وَلَآ أَنَا۠ عَابِدٌ مَّا عَبَدتُّمْ
وَلَآ أَنتُمْ عَـٰبِدُونَ مَآ أَعْبُدُ
لَكُمْ دِينُكُمْ وَلِىَ دِينِ
Al-Kafirun was revealed when Quraysh proposed alternating worship — a year for their idols, a year for Allah. It is the Quran's decisive refusal to compromise on monotheism, sealed with the verse: 'For you is your religion, and for me is my religion' (109:6).
Al-Kafirun (الكافرون) means "The Disbelievers" in English. It is chapter 109 of the Holy Quran.
Surah Al-Kafirun has 6 verses (ayat). It appears on pages 603 to 603 of the mushaf.
Surah Al-Kafirun is a Madani surah, revealed in Madinah after the Prophet's ﷺ migration.

The Prophet ﷺ regularly recited Al-Kafirun together with Al-Ikhlas in the two rak'ahs before Fajr and after Maghrib (Sahih Muslim), and advised reciting it before sleep as a disavowal of shirk (Abu Dawud, At-Tirmidhi).
