At-Tin swears by the fig, the olive, Mount Sinai, and the secure city of Makkah that Allah created man in the best of stature — then reduced to the lowest of the low, except those who believe and do righteous deeds. It ends with a question: is not Allah the most just of judges?
At-Tin (التين) means "The Fig" in English. It is chapter 95 of the Holy Quran.
Surah At-Tin has 8 verses (ayat). It appears on page 597 of the mushaf.
Surah At-Tin is a Makki surah, revealed in Makkah before the Prophet's ﷺ migration to Madinah.
