Al-Layl swears by the night and the day that your striving is diverse — then maps the two paths. Whoever gives, is mindful of Allah, and affirms the best reward, Allah eases toward ease; whoever is miserly, self-sufficient, and denies the best, He eases toward hardship — and his wealth will not save him when he falls.
